Today was our first doctor's visit and our baby's first photo. The doctor measured the baby as one method to determine our how far along we are and our due date. They said that we are probably closer to 7 weeks based on the size of the baby (crown to rump). Our due date was pushed back to May 17th which is the same day of Ryan's graduation ceremony from grad school. Hopefully the baby will either come a few days early or wait a day so Ryan can walk. The most exciting thing about today was having a visual confirmation that there really is a baby in there and we got to see his heartbeat! On our next visit (in 4 weeks) we'll listen to the baby's heartbeat.

We couldn't be more happy for you both. We are very excited because we know the great joy that awaits you on this great adventure. Enjoy every second of it. It goes fast and you will forget alot along the way. We will be diligent to pray for all three of you.
