We are quickly approaching the end of week 13. I can't believe we are already through our first trimester. What is even harder to imagine is that the baby is about 5 inches long and weighs roughly 5 ounces. It's been very hard to monitor weight gain as the scale has not moved since we first found out we were pregnant, yet when I weighed in at my last doctor visit I gained three pounds. Right now it's still hard to believe we're pregnant and the confirmations of ultrasounds and hearing the heartbeat help to make it a reality.

I've had two dreams about the baby. In the first dream we had a girl. In the second, a boy. The second dream was more vivid, we delivered early and at home. Within the same day the baby was crawling ... I'm sure it actually feels that way in real life for some.

Our biggest concern right now is employment after the pregnancy. We'd both love to be working from home, or closer to home, so we can spend time together as a new family. I never would have thought two years ago that working with Ryan would've been so important, now I can't imagine not working together. We are asked quite often how we can work, commute and live together. Ryan says we got married because we like each other. God knew what kind of partnership He was creating. Please keep us in your prayers regarding this area. I know that God has blessed us both with a variety of talents, but more important is being where God wants us to be. Please pray that we would be patient and listen for God's direction, that God would be clear about what actions we should each take and when.
