Earlier this morning we had a doctor appointment for a checkup. After I'd mentioned to our doctor that I have not felt Ethan moving for a few days and she was unable to find a heartbeat we did an ultrasound. We were still unable to find the heartbeat and Ethan was not responding to movement. Please pray for us as we head to the hospital to deliver Ethan. Love, Monica, Ryan and Ethan.

I've never met you two, but my brother sent me a prayer request about your baby. My family and I are praying for you today. I'm so sorry that you are going through this and pray for God's comfort and strength during these days.
I too have never met you, but Sylvia sent me a request for prayer for you. Please know that you are in my prayers and I pray that you will feel the strength and comfort of God as He holds you in His hands during this difficult time. God promises hope in Jeremiah 29:11-13 "For I know the plans tht I have foryou...they are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me." And he is the God of Restoration, Jeremiah 31:3 "I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself. I will rebuild you, my virgin Israel. You will again be happy and dance merrily with tambourines."
We are so sorry to hear this news. We are praying for you today and will continue to in the days that follow. We trust that God will comfort you as you walk through this time. You do not walk alone.

I've been following your story, too... I'm in a small group with Drew and Val. You guys have been SUCH an inspiration to all of us, and I am praying as hard as I can for you both today. May you feel God's loving embrace around your little family as you are going through this.
