Monica and I came home this morning after a terribly difficult night. Saying good-bye to our firstborn was the most difficult thing either of us has ever had to do. The Lord made Himself evident in our sadness and grieving, and even though we know Ethan is with his heavenly Father, we still miss him. But we look forward to the day that we will meet our son in heaven where he's been made perfect.
We've got little reminders of Ethan everywhere we look, and it's impossible not to miss him. Thank you again for all your prayers, but please continue praying for us as we struggle through the difficulty of dealing with what comes next. We ask God for His mercy and grace as we grieve, but also the strength to push ahead.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Brant and I are keeping you all in our thoughts.
Much love,
Laurie and Brant
We are so sorry that this has happened to you and your families, and we are also amazed at your faith. Our first baby was only premature and had some problems, but he made it through, and we'll never forget how lost and afraid we were. Our hearts and prayers are going out to you...
lots of hugs, Carol and John Lee
We are so very sorry to hear the news - we have only meet once at the small group meeting at Ron and Melissa's - we will keep you in our prayers and if there is anything we can do - simply let us know.
