Ethan Welcomes His Uncle William to Heaven

Yesterday I lost my 15 year-old brother. I still can't believe it's true. My baby brother. I still wait for him to come home thinking he's just out with a friend. I don't know what else to write. I love and miss you William. We look forward to seeing you in heaven.

My parent's meet with the funeral director tomorrow morning. But as of right now, there will be a wake on Wednesday at Colonial Funeral Home. Thursday will be a mass, but I'm not positive on the church as it will not be at my parent's home church. Their church is doing a remodeling project and are doing all masses at a near by church. I'll post more information as it becomes available. Information should also be in the Northwest Herald.

Hey Ryan and Monica,
I am saddened to hear about your brother Monica, and though I can't imagine what you are going through in these last several months, I want you to know, at Meadowland we grieve with you in your tragedy, and we celebrate the continued goodness of God with you as well. We, as a church body at Meadowland, as a small group, and as individuals will continue to lift you up in prayer.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction..." II Cor. 1:3-4

Kirk and Meadowland,

Thank you so much for your support and prayers in the past months. There are no answers for our questions, but our Lord is perfect in His plan. It is not always for us to understand that plan, and I'm glad that we only need to worry about today, that He will worry about tomorrow.

Again, thank you for your continued prayers and encouragement.

Ryan

Monica,

I'm shocked, saddened, and speechless at the loss of Billy. All I can remember is that sweet, quiet little boy... he was so polite, so nice, and, man, did he love Star Wars.

My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. I wish I had some wisdom or something smart to say but, honestly, I'm too shaken up. While the Billy that I remember was just 5-years old, he left a lasting impression on me and I always wondered how he was doing.

Your strength and courage through your tragedies is amazing. Please, if you ever need anything, my ears and e-mail boxes are always open.

Love,
Dan

Monica, I know that words are not a great deal of comfort during this time. My prayer for you and Ryan, along with the rest of your family, is that God's strength and peace are with you. I know that we never really talked all that much in high school, but please don't hesitate to ask for anything. My e-mail is strumbergers@yahoo.com.
