Still Waiting...

My beautiful wife at 37 weeks with Noah. I am so blessed to be married to this woman and to share my life with her. Soon we’ll be a tightly knit three-person family and I will be even more blessed. God is so good.

At today’s Dr. appointment Monica measured 41cm. Since we’re at 38 weeks, she should be measuring 38cm, but apparently Noah is enjoying himself a bit too much and not exercising enough. I’m kidding. He’s healthy, even if he is a little on the porky side right now. Otherwise, everything is normal. Noah has been trying to get comfortable lately and it’s just not happening. I’ve seen Monica’s belly shift in directions that look painful and seen limbs jutting out that are downright creepy looking. But I know it’s my boy in there and all that moving around is good for him.

With only 13 days until his due date, we’re ready for him. More than ready. His room is set up, clothes are washed and diapers are ready for absorption. We’re just waiting on him. We’ve tried bribing him with candy and ice cream, but it’s not working :)

We’ll keep everyone up-to-date on progress. As always, thank you everyone for keeping us in your prayers for this healthy pregnancy. We appreciate them. Please continue to pray for a safe delivery for both mom and baby.

As I looked at this photo I had tears in my eyes. The miracle of conception through to birth is one of the Lord's precious gifts. Thank you for sharing your pregnancy and your faith with all of us.

What version of the Bible do you quote? I like it and would like to get one. Reenie from mcc

Hi Reenie,
I prefer the New American Standard Bible (NASB). Glad you're enjoying our blog as we share our life and experience.
