So, tonight is the night we spill the beans. We're doing this early for two reasons. One, we can't wait to share the good news and can't possibly keep it to ourselves any longer. Secondly, we had a little scare this week and want to be able to ask family and friends for prayer.
We thought we might have been miscarrying yesterday. The doctor ordered a blood test which I took last night after work to measure the hormone levels. Today I thought for sure we'd missed out on our first pregnancy. We've been through an emotional roller coaster in the last day. By no means was I prepared to hear what the doctor had to say today about my test results. They confirmed that all the levels are fine and that we are not losing our baby. PRAISE GOD! On Friday when we go for our first doctor's visit we will have an ultrasound to confirm that all is well.
