Only about 200 days left to go! So far I have been very blessed to not have "morning" sickness and I have about two weeks left before we reach our second trimester. I couldn't imagine traveling downtown and not feeling well when we are away from home for 12 hours a day.
Our baby has been quite the traveler lately. A few weeks ago we went up to Green Bay to visit Ryan's brother Wade and his family. Ryan did his second shoot of senior portraits, this time for his nephew Max.
The weekend before last we were back up in Wisconsin at Blue Mounds for two nights of camping with Ryan's brothers Matt and Drew along with their families. I can't believe the warm weather we are having for October. We got one last camping trip in for the year and before we are too far along in our pregnancy. We stopped in Mt. Horeb at the Mustard Museum and traveled through the seven layers of the candy cane forest, past the swirly-twirly gum drops to Cave of the Mounds where we toured a cave 70-feet under ground to see stalactites and stalagmites. Sunday before we took down camp, Matt made some fabulous pancakes.
Last weekend we were almost in Wisconsin again. We went to the world's largest corn maze at Richardson's Farm in Spring Grove. I couldn't get enough pancakes last weekend, so I made some again on Saturday for Ryan and our friends Michael and Emily who went to the maze with us the night before. So much for craving pickles!
Stay tuned. Next week we have another doctor's visit. We're both very excited—at the 12-week visit we will listen to the baby's heartbeat.
